Auditions are ever a nerve-racking
experience for actors, young and old alike. We want to make sure that this is a positive experience for parents and participants.
Here's some information that will help you through this process:
- Sign-up for an auditions time by contacting the Shade Tree Office
- Check your summer schedules to find a play that will work for you
- You may audition for all plays, but you will only be cast in one. Conflicts with performances are NOT allowed. Please
see the play listings for titles, dates, and times.
- Please arrive 15 minutes
before your audition begins so you have enough time to check-in
- You do not need
to prepare anything for your group's audition. Just come in, relax, do your best with the material that we give you. You
may be asked to sing a well-know song if you plan to audition for a musical.
- Break
a leg, and we'll see you at the theatre!
