Charlotte's Web

Shade Tree Players Children’s Theatre presents a show about “Some Pig”!

Shade Tree Players Children’s Theatre is preparing a room just for cobwebs at their new home at the High Prairie Arts and Science Center.  Charlotte, Wilbur, Fern and the rest of the Charlotte’s Web cast want to share their new home and the importance of growing up and friendship with you!  Performances are August 4, 5, 6 at 7:00 pm and August 7 at 2:00 pm.  Tickets are $6.00 and can be purchased between the hours of 9:00 am and noon at Dakota Stage located at 412 East Main in Bismarck or by calling the box office at 258-4998.

Charlotte’s Web is the first full scale production to go up in Shade Tree Players’ new home at the High Prairie Arts and Science Center, located at 1810 Schafer Street in Bismarck.  The lovable story of Wilbur, a young pig whom the audience follows from birth, is one of the best known stories in American Children’s literature.  Come see Wilbur and his friends as they learn the difficulties about growing up, the importance of being different and how friendship is one of the most important things you can have.  When someone believes in you, you can do anything!

E. B. White’s Charlotte’s Web, by Joseph Robinette, is a full stage production, complete with costumes, make-up, sets and a cast of 43 talented children ranging in ages from 6-16.
